A year ago, right now, I was working on developing an entirely new brand: Studio Tell.
Not all elements of it were new. I have always wanted my copywriting business to feel restful and empowering, and that didn’t change when I rebranded from Abigail Emma to Studio Tell. However, I did have to find fresh ways of talking about the point of my business, and come up again with the foundational elements of what made Studio Tell unique and how I could serve other creative businesses.
I went through the design process with Adison from Amina Studios, and she helped me pinpoint what I could do for clients. More from a design perspective, of course, but it still was helpful to talk it through with someone, come up with a guide to my brand, and be able to visualize and talk about what I was going to be doing with Studio Tell.
Picture yourself in this situation for a minute (and if you’re a business owner, you have actually BEEN IN this situation): you’re just getting started with developing your business. You know you have an incredible offer that can change something about your people’s lives. If you’re a mobile coffee shop owner, you know that you can totally brighten someone’s day with a foamy latte. If you design the visuals of brands, you know that you can flip someone’s insecurity on its head with logos and colors and textures that tell a visual story of what THEY are selling.
The thing is though: when you’re the business owner, it’s so hard to actually say how you can change things for your customers.
Is this where I swoop in and say I have a service that will change how YOU feel about your brand message?
Yep, it is.
Let me present to you *insert drumroll*:
Complete Brand and Website Copy
The Foundation and Building.
My husband is a woodworker, and I frequently have a close-up view of what it takes to craft a beautiful piece of furniture. He built our little white house here in Idaho, and we worked together to design the feel and flow of the house. (Credits to his uncle for talented architectural drawings).
If your brand is a building, your articulated message is the concrete foundation underneath as well as the solid walls of each room. The design aspects are the décor—but if you have no underlying story of what you are about, the décor is just sitting in an empty field or on an empty lot and has no substance underneath.
Complete Brand and Website Copy will build the house for you. Will you be involved in the process? Absolutely. After all—your vision is the one that is going to welcome people into your space (aka your brand). But you do not have to be solely responsible for making it all yourself.
So, what is included in this Complete Brand and Website Copy service? Allow me to give you an overview.
Who are you? What do you do? How are you impacting the lives of your clients? Your brand copy includes the mission of your business, your extended and short tagline or elevator pitch, and the tone and style of all the copy you will write for your business going forward. These pieces are delivered partially via Google Doc and partially via a luxurious Brand Messaging Guide that is tailored specifically for you.
All the pieces of the Brand and Website Copy package are custom, but the website copy part of it is especially. Whether you have a simple landing page for your website website, or a website with twelve to fifteen pages that dives extensively into your business offers, I will work with you to make sure it ALL is written in a way that will draw in your clients and serve them in the most hospitable way possible.
